Workshops, demonstrations and events

 

Immerse yourself and experience the creative process of the artists.

Every studio will be open to visit over the weekend but you are invited to do more! An amazing array of workshops, demonstrations and events are on offer over the Dandenong Ranges Open Studios weekend.

Some fees may apply. All workshops, demonstrations and events occur at the corresponding studio.

Demonstrations and events are available to attend on the day, please adhere to the COVIDsafe limits of visitors.

Introduction to dry felt sculpture, materials included (1 hour) $20

The Brass Harpies Photo Booth - selfies with quirky props (until 5pm) FREE 

1.00pm     Greg O'Toole: Painting demonstration:

A live narration over a prerecorded video of a painting (3 hours) FREE

2.00pm     Brenda Page: Screen printing: 

Mini workshop screen printing on glass (30 mins) FREE

2.30pm     Juliet Widdows: Throwing bowls:

Demonstration of throwing larger bowls in various shapes (45 mins) FREE

3.00pm     Joy Serwylo: Design a book:

Play with paper, make an artist's book  (1 hour) FREE 

3.00pm     Natalie Rose Dyer: Swanni:

Music performance by local musician Swanni, wine, and art exhibition (30 mins) FREE

ALL DAY   Mark Westaway: Print a Mug:

Print your name on a mug or use existing design $20 (pay on arrival)

Use stencils to create a group painting, take one home FREE
